A filmmaker in the midst of a midlife crisis heads to Alaska. In a remote farming community, he meets a family guarding an old school bus – and inside it, a massive rock they believe is a priceless meteorite. He forms an unlikely bond with Dave, the rock’s owner, as both cling to the hope that something extraordinary still awaits them. As doubt sets in, the filmmaker begins to question not only the story, but his role in shaping it. A darkly comic road fable, with characters and landscapes straight out of a Coen Brothers film.
