A documentary that follows the rehearsal process of Nissim Aloni’s play The Gypsies of Jaffa at the Habima Theatre, Ram Loevy’s Just Don’t Think Twice turns the camera onto creation itself. Using cinematic language to mirror Aloni’s theatrical “splitting” and partial transitions, the film observes actors at work and builds a rare portrait of the playwright.
