When I moved to Frankfurt, I didn’t know anyone. Mostly alone, I searched online for a public livestream camera, wanting to be part of the city without leaving my room. I found only one: a stranger streaming the street from his balcony on YouTube Live. That was when I first saw Marco. In FOLLOW BACK, I create a month-long duet of following. I move my lonely life into his landscape, allowing him to follow me as I follow him, until we eventually meet. The video performance reflects on intimacy, surveillance, and queer desire in public space, combining livestream footage, street documentation, social media traces, and voiceover narration.
